About Me - Your Trusted Newborn Photographer 

Hello there! I'm Kate your go-to photographer in Nottingham. I have a passion for maternity, newborn, cake smash and family photography and a knack for posing, I'm here to create timeless memories for you and your family. I am based in the Bulwell area of Nottingham.

My background is a degree in Psychology and Post Graduate in Social Work. When it came down to it, I realised Social Work wasn't for me. While it's an incredibly worthwhile profession, I wanted to work with people and be there for their happy moments and capture this forever. Making memories is big thing for me...when I was younger my friends called me Kodak Kate because my camera came everywhere and I took so many photos. So, it naturally followed that I would follow a career in Photography. I get to work closely with people in a positive way and help them to put these memories into something physical.

My expertise lies in newborn photography, where I specialise in artfully posing your little ones to capture their purest essence. Those fleeting moments of innocence deserve to be cherished forever.

I don't just stop at newborns! I also love to celebrate the beauty of motherhood through maternity photoshoots, embracing the journey to motherhood with grace and style.

Cake Smash and Family Fun Nottingham

Cake smash sessions are all about joy and messiness! I adore capturing the unbridled happiness of your child's first taste of cake. And when it comes to family sessions, I believe that the love and connections within your family are a work of art in themselves. Take place in my Nottingham studio.

 Pets Welcome:

Our furry friends are family too! Pets are always welcome in my studio, because they play an integral part in your life story. We can talk about this in the pre session meeting (usually over zoom) about how we can make your pets part of your session. 

 Family First:

As a Mum of three young girls, I understand how quickly time passes and how important it is to freeze those moments in time. Your family's story is unique, and I'm here to help you tell it through the lens.

Life is incredibly busy for us. But I love it. Being a parent myself I understand the stressors of parenting life and how sometimes kids just don't do as they are asked. I have a lot of patience with kids and 99% of the time we will get some gorgeous images. 

I aim to take unique images that capture a moment in time. Should it be a photo shoot with kids, a wedding, christening, birthday party, or any event that you are hosting, I should be the person you consider to capture those moments forever.

Meet Matt:

I'm happily married to Matt, my partner in both life and photography. You'll often find him by my side, especially during weddings, where we work together to capture the magic of your special day. Matt will make you feel at ease by cracking jokes (usually at my expense) and with his charm. 

 Private Studio, Endless Memories:

My private studio is nestled in a commercial space. It's the perfect setting to create images that you'll treasure for a lifetime, and that will only grow in sentimental value as the years go by. The studio is in Nottingham in the Bulwell area. It is close to local transport links with a bus, train and tram station within a 5 minute walk. We are only 6 minutes from J26 of the M1 so I serve the Nottingham, South Yorkshire, Leicestershire and some of the West Midlands as well.
